The Sportsman's Guide launches new websites

Internet outdoor gear and golf-equipment provider The Sportsman's Guide Inc has launched www.baseballsavings.com and www.softballsavings.com.
The operations of two new websites will be overseen by the management team of The Golf Warehouse, www.tgw.com, located in Wichita, KS, and purchased by the company in June of 2004.
Mark Marney, Chief Executive Officer of TGW.com, stated, "These new sites are natural and logical extensions of our business and our business model. They allow us to extend and enhance our long-standing relationships with many of the same manufacturers and distributors that we have been working with at TGW for years.”
“Additionally, they allow us to bring our Internet marketing expertise to a half billion dollar annual market that is growing at a faster rate than most of the sporting goods market," Mark added.
Marney went on to note that the sites will carry products from adidas, All Star, BWP Bats, Callaway, DeMARINI, Diamond Sports, Franklin, JUGS, Louisville Slugger, Majestic Athletic, Miken Sports, Mizuno USA, New Era, Rawlings Riddell, Twin City, Under Armour, Wilson Sports and Worth Sports, with more than 10,700 separate product offerings.

The Sportsman's Guide is an Internet and catalog retailer offering value-priced outdoor gear and general merchandise, with a special emphasis on outdoor clothing, outdoor equipment, golf apparel, equipment and footwear and baseball and softball equipment, apparel and accessories.
