Mara Gottler collection for BC fashion week

Mara Gottler invites you to join her as she presents her fall & winter 2006 collection during BC fashion week. This collection is a tailored line that subtly showcases the female silhouette.
After a striking first impression, surprise details ensure a dramatic exit. Wools, cashmeres and silks lend a luxurious feel to the season, whether coming or going.
The Collection will start on Wednesday, April 5th, 2006, 5:30pm at Scotiabank Dance Centre, 677 Davie Street, Vancouver, British Columbia
All are invited to join for this event. An RSVP will ensure seating. Looking forward to an exciting evening!

Mara Gottler understood how clothes were constructed. Inadvertently, she had discovered her passion, and was soon enrolled at the National Theatre School of Canada where she studied costume design.
Working in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver, Mara honed her skills by designing for theatre, dance, and film, while teaching costume design at the University of British Columbia, and at Langara College's Studio 58.
Whether designing for the National Ballet, or for Vancouver's renowned Shakespearean theatre, Bard on the Beach, Mara has always challenged herself to reveal the unexpected within the necessary.
