The Fashion House launches new private label division

The Fashion House Inc, a growing women's shoe company, has launched a new private label division as part of a strategic initiative to expand its customer base and open new distribution channels for its women's fashion footwear products, and to accelerate growth of high-margin revenue opportunities.
The Fashion House's core business is the design, manufacture and distribution of licensed women's fashion footwear for top fashion brands including Bill Blass, Oscar de la Renta, Richard Tyler and Isaac Mizrahi.
The new private label division will enable the Company to further leverage and amortize core production costs by designing and manufacturing footwear for private labels or brands owned by national department store chains and other large-scale retail footwear outlets. This will allow for higher margins with existing product lines, as well as increased distribution for the company through additional retail channels.
"Virtually every major department store has multiple private label brands, so the creation of a private label division gives us access to an enormous and important customer base, with very substantial revenue growth opportunities," said John Hanna, President and CEO of The Fashion House.
In addition, because there are no royalty fees paid on the private labels, profit margins are expected to be larger than those under the Company's licensed manufacturing agreements.
