Twenty-fifth edition of Filo's Autumn/Winter Apparel collection 07-08 and, as it is usual in spring, the collection dedicated to Furnishing 2008.
Pearly chic - Age-old chic of the pearl, which serves as an inspiration for textile variations around this marine jewel, with all the luminosity that pearls have to offer and with all the nuances of a white that changes with the light.
We direct our attention towards metamorphoses of the least pigmented but most intriguing colour on earth focusing on its capacities and the chances that it offers to shade away into another tone. Many-faceted and protean by nature, like the feminine elegance that not by chance has made of pearls a legendary instrument of self-celebration.
Manly in style - We talk about "structure" because we wish to talk about properly woven fabrics, which entail a complete and organic style - one that has all the irrefutable, creative elements ready to withstand any contradiction. Perhaps it is elitist, but elite-consumers are a market which our industry has to think about.
And we pay honour to the return of the formal look, which for far too long has been confined in an imaginary "zoo" - to which access was not desired or permitted. We rediscover the pleasure of shapes but also and above all that of materials with all their tactile and visible joys.
Plains - We dedicate a section to these types and their yarns because of the important role in the coming period that will see a reduction in the decorated effect (excessively present at the moment) and a return to a more rigorous look.
Thus we go back to the creation of fabrics with extra finishing plusses and technical structure plusses, which might be an interesting feature for the ever increasing role of short and very short delivery time items.
