The new Ariel-inspired gown can be seen on the cover of the November/December issue of Bridal Guide magazine and features a sweetheart neckline and bodice made of hand-tacked, draped organza over satin.
The skirt is designed with vertical rows of flowing organza ruffles edged with silk ribbon and metallic embroidery. To add a splash of glamour and sparkle, the gown is finished with an organza belt sewn with crystals and silver beading.
"Our Ariel gown reflects the waves of the sea. It makes a grand, elegant statement while creating light, undulating movement as the bride walks," said Denise Wash, vice president of marketing at Alfred Angelo. "Ariel has many facets to her personality and is known for taking risks, so the sweetheart strapless silhouette is the first-ever ball gown we've created for Ariel."
In honor of the new gown, brides can enter the Alfred Angelo Ariel 2014 Sweepstakes now through Dec. 9, 2013, to win the dress of their dreams and a romantic Disney Fairy Tale Weddings honeymoon at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla.
The rest of the Alfred Angelo Disney Fairy Tale Weddings collection includes dresses inspired by Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Tiana. They are expected in stores by the end of 2013.
