Chanel signs Kristen Stewart as its new face

Chanel, the celebrated French luxury fashion brand, has signed on popular Hollywood actress Kristen Stewart to front its next campaign.
According to huffingtonpost.com, the 23-year-old star will be the face of the label’s 2013 Pre-Fall Texas-themed Métiers d’Art collection advertisements.
Shot by the glorious Parisian house’s creative director of almost three decades, Karl Lagerfeld, the new campaign will be released sometime in May 2014.
By becoming the face of Chanel, the Twilight movie series’ actress joins the likes of Tilda Swinton, Blake Lively, Keira Knightley and Diane Kruger, who have earlier posed in the brand’s illustrious advertisements.
Founded in 1909, Chanel is a high-fashion house that specializes not only in haute couture and ready-to-wear clothing, but also luxury goods and fashion accessories.
