Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Ltd plans expansion across mainland to cash on increasing demands for diamond and luxury jewelry.
The company is likely to launch as many as 120 new stores on the mainland in 2006 to take the total number to 620.
Talking to Chinese media, Kent Wong Siu-kee, Director of the company, said that the jeweler was looking for workers from anywhere to maintain the company's growth.
However, the company would welcome fresh graduates as experienced professionals do not easily come out of their fixed opinions and a rigid way of doing things, which may not suit to company's policy, he added.
He suggested that the company already maintains superior retail standards and to endorse the luxury brand's image, all new employees are given an comprehensive three-day training session, with regular training sessions throughout the year.
