Abbey Clancy designs her third range for Matalan

The British lingerie and catwalk model Abbey Clancy has launched her third collection in partnership with her long time UK-based collaborator Matalan.

Replete with the very on-trend luxe sportswear-like details, the Spring/Summer 2014 collaborative range with the high street retailer features an array of flirty fun frocks.

Based on a palette of white, grey, black and pops of orange, the 8-piece line is accentuated with delicate spaghetti straps and mesh shoulder detailing.

Enhanced with figure hugging silhouettes, the collection includes flattering pencil skirt dresses, bandeau bodycons, high neck 2-in-1 sleeveless numbers with illusion blacks panels in the middle as well as some mini scuba pieces.

The Abbey by Abbey Clancy collection will be available online and in selected stores across the UK from June 4, 2014 onwards.

Founded in 1985, the Lancashire-based retail chain Matalan operates through a network of over 200 stores across the country.

Other than designing for Matalan, the 28-year-old ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ star has also worked on a partnership design venture with the UK-based designer innerwear maker Ultimo.
