The Board of Directors of shoe company Wedins has named Per Thelin to new Chief Executive Officer.
Thelin meets all those requirements and criteria as the board organized up the wide search of a new Chief Executive Officer Wedins in order to evil that extensive change work as been initiated; an experienced industrial leader with experience from leaderships within retailing, bigger restructuring works, international activities - and with stock exchange experience.
Thelin will start service from August 1st 2006. He has solid experience from conductive positions within retailing and fashion through his 25 years in the sector. He was formerly head of British womenswear company Jacques Vert's European Melka and Tenson business.
Wedins Skor Accessoarer AB - The Group's principal activity is retail sale of shoes and accessories. It has a total of 199 stores. It operates through three divisions: Accessories, Shoes and Rizzo.
The Accessories segment provides umbrellas, gloves and bags. The Shoes segment provides low to middle price range footwear. The Rizzo segment provides exclusive footwear. It carries out operations in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. It acquired Don Donna in fiscal 2005.
