Julia Roberts stars in Givenchy's S/S15 campaign

The storied French luxury fashion brand Givenchy has signed on the internationally-renowned American actress Julia Roberts to star in its Spring/Summer 2015 campaign.
Shot by the fashion photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the advertorial features the ‘Pretty Woman’ star in a series of androgyny-inspired looks, created by the fashion house’s current creative director of Italian origin, Ricardo Tisci.
Styled by Katy England, the black-and-white advertisement images showcase the 47-year-old Academy Award winning actress in a boyish boxy jacket, lace shirt and a tuxedo suit.
The campaign will be featured in the March, 2015 issues of international lifestyle and fashion publications like Vogue, Purple, V, Interview, CR Fashion Book, System, Love, Flair, Common & Sense, Tvtor, I Look, Milk X, Grazia, Elle, Madame Figaro, Marie Claire and GQ.
Founded in 1952, the Paris-based fashion house Givenchy is known for its haute couture and prêt-a-porter clothing as well as accessories and personal care products.
Helming the Parisian house since 2005, Riccardo Tisci has studied in Italy’s Design Istituto d’Arte Applicata and London’s Central Saint Martins Academy.
One of the highest-paid actresses in the world, Julia Roberts had won the Oscar’s Best Actress award for her performance in Erin Brockovich (2000). (PB)
