Dem Phuong Dong launches F-jean

Dem Phuong Dong (Oriental Night) will show the miracle of jeans fashion in the Spring & Summer 2006 Fashion Week in Ha Noi, this weekend.
Phuong Dong Garment Company will be making their debut at the annual fashion show with their event titled Oriental Night, which will show off their newest design of denim clothes, F.Jeans.
Phuong Dong Garment Company has about 300 designs made by their team of 8 designers including well known designers Minh Hanh, Anh Vu, Hoai Sang, and Dieu Anh.
Designer Truong Anh Vu has displayed his designs at fashions shows in the past but this will be his first time displaying clothes for Phuong Dong Company.
"This fashion show is important to me because I'm one of designers representing the Phuong Dong Company. We have the opportunity to work with modern technology production chains which the other designers have not," said Anh Vu. His collection will combine cotton-based denim and Vietnamese silk.
Deputy-general director of Viet Nam Textile and Garment Corporation (Vinatex), Vu Duc Giang, says F.Jeans is a garment product which combines the skills of designers with a modern technology production chain.
The technology production chain used to create F.Jeans designs was imported from RGR, a Canadian company.
It is the largest high technology production chain in Southeast Asia with automatic technology and managing systems, according to Giang.
Phuong Dong Company has become a leading fashion supplier for big distributors such as Metro, Big C and Vinatex. It's name appeared in Europe in 2002 with a turn-over of about US$1 million per year, according to Nguyen Duc Hung, the company director.
