New website for contemporary women's clothing

An internet retailer of contemporary women's fashions launched today at http://www.frillygirls.com.
The site, containing fun collections from retails such as Red Engine, Antik Denim and Velvet, was developed for women in the 21-45 age bracket who prefer to shop via computer in the comfort of their own home or at work.
"Our site will enable women -- from the suburban mom to the city executive -- to obtain sexy, cool clothing from some of the industry's fun new brands," said Kate Rockett, one of the founders of frillygirls.com. "We're excited to provide an online store that is always open for women who don't have the time or the energy for traditional shopping, but still need to release the need to splurge!"
Kate Rockett, Kim Lane and Jenn Linehan, three women from the Boston area with a love for fashion, developed the site because trends show that people are increasingly shopping online.
"According to Forrester Research, retail sales online are expected to increase at a 19 percent annual compounded rate through 2008," said Kim Lane, founder. "Kate, Jenn and I are stay at home moms ready to re-enter the workforce and we believe the growth of the online shopping industry, combined with our exciting inventory, will lead to Frillygirls.com's success."
Frillygirls.com contains jeans, trousers and shirts. Customers navigate by brand or by category and frequent shoppers receive coupons and updates via email. Along with free shipping, the site will offer 20 percent off of all purchases through July to celebrate the launch. Shoppers just need to type in Launch in the coupon code at checkout to receive the savings.
