Dogeared starts popular line of House Blessings

Dogeared, a trendsetting brand that creates handcrafted jewels and gifts in Venice, California, is extending their popular line of House Blessings. Each piece carries a bit of the Dogeared magic that empowers the individual spirit and enhances the energy of the home.
Dogeared Jewels and Gifts was founded in 1991 on the power of words, talismans, and charms, which now, along with designer home, is an important trend. As talismans for the home, these House Blessings act as touchstones that energize and harmonize the household.
"Everything that we bring into our homes should enhance our environment," explains designer and founder Marcia Maizel-Clarke. "When we surround ourselves with beautiful colors and objects it creates the palette for good energy to flow in our homes. Living in a home space that is harmonious and creative trickles down to all areas of a person's being."
The House Blessings, based on vintage icons, have been reinterpreted and custom cast in silver bronze and brass by Dogeared. There are 12 new forms, including a Butterfly, Heart, and Roaring Lion. These traditional motifs have an old-soul, vintage look and a designer feel that will bring beauty and focus into any room.
A Karma Ring, Lucky Bamboo and a Wish Bone bring harmony, while symbols of faith: Buddha, Star of David, Angel, and Cross are "reminders to live each day with a grateful and loving heart."
"One of my favorites is the deer head," continues Maizel-Clarke, "it symbolizes laughter. As the gift card says, I'd never have a real one in my house...but it reminds me to keep light, flowing and to laugh!"
