Footwear maker La New's sales have been declining and its revenue dropped 26.34 percent to NT$1.316 billion due to bad card loan.
To increase its boundaries in domestic market, company launched two new brands 'PLAYA' in 2004 and 'La New ladies' in 2005.
Last year company's sales fell 5 percent to NT$3.554 billion and profit after tax dropped 30 percent to NT$129 million.
PLAYA caters youngsters aged between 16 and 28 and La new focuses on health oriented footwear using natural leather and environment-friendly polyurethane with 258 retail outlets for 'La new' footwear and 51 retail store for 'PLAYA'.
To increase its revenue, company launched socks complementary product for footwear and will launch men's underwear in second half of this year.
