SAN FRANCISCO, CA, MARCH 1, 2005 It's almost time for warm weather season and that means it's time to shop for swimwear. With chic colors and daring designs, women will exude an air of confidence that stops traffic on any beach. 'Swimwear for Spring 2005 is about personal expression, allowing women to experiment with bold color statements and modish patterns,' says Macy's West Vice President Fashion Director Bill Bigler.

GRAPHIC ARTISTS: Graphic dots and updated Pucci inspirations are seen in bold color schemes, while dramatic color blocking adds a freshness and vibrancy to swimwear and beachwear accessories.
COLOR: Pool blue, Kelly green and canary yellow accented with white and navy surface as spring's 'it' colors. These classic clean shades matched with gold hardware and belting details make women feel as though they are stars in a Proven'al village.
SHINE ON: Shine is key this season and brings a contemporary vibe to swimwear. Gold hardware stands out among assorted neutrals and colors. The rich shimmer of sequin embellishments, paillette accents, and ribbon details enhance the look of femininity and class. Metallic shine and foil prints give a sexy edge to the season's hottest suits.
FEMININE: A flattering soft look of pastels and pretty florals will make any women feel sweet, romantic and feminine. Satin fabrics are sexy and dually radiate purity, in one-pieces and bikinis.
