PFSweb implements e-commerce platform for Roots

PFSweb Inc, a global provider of integrated business process outsourcing (BPO) solutions, announced today the successful implementation of its integrated, e-commerce platform for Roots, Canada's leading athletic lifestyle brand.

Roots offer a wide range of quality apparel, premium leather goods and accessories for men, women and children of all ages.

In May, PFSweb announced that it would be extending its American turnkey e-commerce platform to Canada, including web-hosting, e-commerce technology, turnkey order management, payment processing and fraud prevention, brand-centric fulfillment, high-touch customer care, freight management programs and logistics.

Thus far, the platform has yielded success by helping meet the needs of Roots' Canadian and U.S. customers.

The online success of Roots is in part, due to the expanded relationship between PFSweb and its e-commerce platform, which has provided Roots customers an expanded online product catalogue. Customers shortly will be able to preview new colors, and order additional sizes and clothing styles online.

This more closely mirrors the inventory of their top retail stores and minimizes freight costs in addition to many more enhancements that are scheduled in the near future.
