Fashion retailer Hilo Hattie appoints new Oahu Sales Manager

Hilo Hattie has recently hired Mari Tianne Okamoto as their new Oahu Sales Manager, responsible for driving business into the flagship factory store on Nimitz Highway and the store at the Ala Moana Shopping Center designed for the Kamaaina market.
The Oahu Sales Manager position is a new job that promotes Hilo Hattie as the "Store of Hawaii", a unique retail-shopping destination on Oahu.
Mari will be involved in the creation and development of Sales and Marketing Programs for Waikiki and to maintain relationships through the Hotel Tour Desks, Activity Desks, Concierges, Westbound Tour Briefings, mid-size Westbound Tour Operators, small transportation companies, taxi and limousine companies, independent Waikiki hotels, Oahu bed and breakfast businesses, and Oahu military contacts to attract customers and increase sales to Hilo Hattie's Nimitz and Ala Moana stores.
She will also create and develop special events to promote Hilo Hattie and be an active participant in travel industry organizations.
Hilo Hattie is Hawaii's largest Hawaiian retailer and also the largest manufacturer of Hawaiian, resort and casual fashions, offering hundreds of prints and styles only available at a Hilo Hattie store. It operates seven stores on all the major islands and stores in Orange, California; Las Vegas, Nevada; Orlando, Florida and San Diego, California.
