As a first step in establishing a permanent presence in the Middle East region, Turkey-based Gilan jewellery will shortly open its retail boutique in the Kingdom of Bahrain, for the self-confident and expressive Arab woman.
Gilan, which has a 25 year legacy, only makes exclusive, limited edition jewellery, catering to individual style and panache, and its bold and beautiful designs are a new arrival in the jewellery market of the region.
To start with, Gilan's operations in Bahrain will focus on appointment-only private service until the official opening of the boutique by the end of 2007, according to sources.
Gilan, a mélange of modern western culture fused with the mysticism of the Orient, has in the pipeline two more sales points in region by end of 2008.
President Muharrem Gilan is confident that their collections will be well-received in the region.
Gilan operates boutiques and showrooms in Paris, New York, Moscow, Istanbul and Baku in Azerbaijan.
