Ferreira sponsors RMK Championship & Cellular South Cup

Ferreira Tennis, a tennis apparel company founded by former ATP Tour World No. 1 Doubles player Ellis Ferreira and his wife Ashley, has signed a three-year contract to act as the official clothing sponsor for the Regions Morgan Keegan Championship and Cellular South Cup. This year's tournament begins Feb. 17 at the Racquet Club of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee.

As official clothing sponsor, Ferreira Tennis representatives will be on site in the tournament's pro shop and other retail locations selling their spring/summer 2006 line. Ferreira Tennis will also outfit the ball girls and ball boys as well as volunteers at the Regions Morgan Keegan Championship and Cellular South Cup. The apparel company will participate in a fashion show Feb. 17 and Kids' Day on Feb. 18.

“After years of traveling the world playing tennis, Ashley and I realized that there were very few options when it came to colorful, fashionable tennis wear. Our apparel line allows us to give something back to the tennis community that has been such a positive presence in our lives,” said Ellis Ferreira, chief executive officer and chairman of Ferreira Tennis.
