'Upscale lifestyle brand' to be promoted by Mossimo-Flabella JV

Santa Monica-based Mossimo Inc, a designer, licensor and distributor of men's, women's, boys' and girls' apparel, footwear and other fashion accessories, has entered into a direct retail licensing deal with South American department store Flabella.
Set to begin in the spring of 2007, the joint venture will see the Flabella's in-store merchandising team creating a store within a store for Mossimo in all Falabella stores.
According to the deal, all Falabella stores will exclusively offer Mossimo clothing and accessories in its stores, positioning Mossimo as an "upscale lifestyle brand".
