Benchmark appoints Michael Margolies as new Vice President

Benchmark Brands, the company that created the category of lower body healthcare with its direct-to-consumer brand FootSmart, and its newest brand, WalkSmart, announced the appointment of Michael Margolies to Vice President, Creative Services. Margolies joins Benchmark Brands from Federated Department Stores, Inc. where he was the Director of Advertising Technology & Prepress for Macy's West.
In his position with Benchmark Brands, Margolies oversees an in-house creative services staff that includes 15 professionals. The department produces 20 catalogs a year under the FootSmart title with an annual circulation of more than 50,000,000. In addition, Margolies will oversee the development and launch of the newest Benchmark Brands catalog, WalkSmart, which will be mailed 4 times in 2006, and have an anticipated circulation of more than 15,000,000 in 2007.
