Trend Selection presents the Trends for winter 2007-08. Living is a miracle. A tough one, though. To live, we need peace, passion, and hearing the beat of that powerful muscle we call the heart.

The time for hit-and-runs and use-and-throws has gone.
That's something the earth can no more cope with. It is no more economically viable. And it is emotionally catastrophic.

The time has come for a 'Sensitive Culture': a moderate and intense approach of understanding deep in one's heart and feeling with one's hands, becoming aware of the food one eats, the items one buys, the clothes one wears.

A time of triumph for nature: fashion, design, landscape architecture, gardens, terraces, advertising, books, are all concerned.

A nostalgic mood for a scenery now vanished and an ambition to influence the one which will replace it.

Deep emotions stir the soul of our generation, and influence market needs and consumption.

Beside the frantic renovations brought about by technology, a need and quest for Ethical Nature arise. Fashion demands that colours are closer to nature, that we go back to natural materials and fibres.

We Have A Dream…
The season will draw inspiration from the little and great dreams of man, from the emotion and energy that drive mankind.
The season will raise feminine looks to the nth power.

This new femininity will be oriented towards two parallel directions:
- luxury, now free fromexcesses and closer to a more discrete femininity,

- a new mood for neat looks, with a natural allure and a simplification of shapes enriched by matter

Dreaming of health for the body and the mind, of paradise on earth, between reality and mysticism, means rediscovering an angel-woman.
Colours: pale, ethereal and delicate as snowfall, wintry whites matched with darker shades of leather.
