Tom Shoes shines fate of Alpargata

The Amazing Race contestant Blake Mycoskie along with his Argentine polo instructor, Alejo Nitti founded a new range of shoes named Toms Shoes - "TOMS" refers to "shoes for tomorrow" adding a new series in the Alpargata range.
The two men remodeled the simple slip-on with vibrant colors, stripes, even camouflage prints. They improved its durability, replaced the standard jute sole for rubber, and attached a leather insole which will help the bare feet not to get sweaty. Toms shoes makes life more comfortable through its ultra lightweight design.
It is a common shoe, which can be used both by celebrity and common man.
According to the company, famous persons like Brad Pitt, Geena Davis, Sienna Miller, Lindsay Lohan and Robert Downey Jr, Keira Knightley and Cameron Diaz are the admirers of the Alpargata shoes.
