Dogeared Jewels & Gifts launch online shopping store

Dogeared Jewels & Gifts, a trendsetting brand that creates handcrafted jewels and accessories in Venice, California, has announced the launch of its first direct-to-consumer website.
The consumer site, which debuts in the company's 15th year, was created to serve Dogeared's loyal customers, who have long been requesting direct access to the collection. As a result, the site was designed not only to serve as Dogeared's flagship store, but to provide an intimate shopping environment 24/7.
“We talk to our customers all the time,” explains designer and founder Marcia Maizel-Clarke. “We know about the special events in their lives that Dogeared has been a part of. They weren't asking for an online catalog, but rather entrée to our world, where we can share our important moments.”
Visitors can browse through the store, read Dogeared's infamous cards, search by occasion, best sellers, keyword, and color, and stop along the way to read the different messages, check out the press coverage and create a personal wish list.
“This website gives us a direct connection to the people that buy, wear, and gift our products,” adds Maizel-Clarke. “The fashion-conscious, accessory shopper and gift-giver extraordinaire is doing more of their shopping and spending more of their time online, and so is Dogeared. We have worked diligently to create a personal, easy, and exciting shopping experience that will enhance the dialogue we enjoy with our customers.”
The new website has been designed to allow visitors to experience Dogeared's mantra, of “…spreading good energy into the world, through positive and uplifting charms, jewels, and gifts…”
