When Koutons Retail India (KRI) began to focus on domestic markets, its attention towards the overseas market diminished. Now it is planning to strengthen its presence in other countries.
KRI in a step towards expansion is about to set about 25 retail stores in Asian and West Asian countries under its brand name.
It is also relaunching its youth brand under the name of Charlie Outlaw. With this the company is targeting the younger generation who has a higher purchasing power and are enthusiastic to invest on fashion apparels.
The company is preparing to set up 1000 Koutons stores and 2000 Charlie Outlaw stores with an investment of Rs 250 crore in the next three years.
Koutons has set a sales target of 425 crore this year.
