Turtle Fur includes SILVER collection of technical headwear

Turtle Fur Group will introduce a new tech collection called SILVER at this Winter's Outdoor Retailer show. These hats feature fabrics using silver ion technology such as Visa Endurance and SmartSilver.
Silver technology has been gaining popularity in performance base layers and socks in recent years but it has largely been missing as a category in headwear. Turtle Fur saw this gap in the market and decided to improve upon their line of performance headwear by adding silver enhanced fabrics.
Silver ion enhanced fabrics help boost the performance of fabrics, whether enhancing wicking to keep one drier and therefore warmer, reducing the static cling of a fleece, or helping to move heat throughout a piece.
“With headwear, we're looking to provide wicking at the forehead, warmth at the ears, and breathability at the crown to insure that your whole noggin' is happy. We chose silver enhanced fabrics to make good performing favorites even better”.
SmartSilver and Visa Endurance use nanoparticles that are spread uniformly throughout the fabric where they are bonded permanently with the fibers without altering the hand, dye, stretch or wicking capabilities. They are both environmentally-friendly and permanently bonded to fabrics, ensuring "like new" performance for the life of the product.
