SVOBODA launched onto the fashion scene in 2004 with the introduction of fun, flirty, full-figured styles that eradicated dressing doldrums from closets nationwide.
Three years and four successful collections later, SVOBODA is poised for continued industry growth with the upcoming launch of the Spring 2007 Collection and anticipated distribution at major department stores worldwide, including Nordstrom, Saks, Neiman Marcus and Selfridges.
Committed to her vision of creating clothing that allows any woman -- regardless of size -- to wear fashions that fit, flatter and express her individual sense of style, company Founder and Owner Jessica Svoboda is happy to announce her hard work is finally beginning to pay off.
"I started SVOBODA because I am a fashionable plus-size woman and I want fashionable clothes. I was tired of sloppy, ill-fitting clothing and baggy jeans," explains Svoboda.
"Jumping into the fashion industry was tough; it was the equivalent of suiting up and playing the World Series, having only ever been a spectator of baseball. We spent the first two years learning, but have gained our footing and established a solid foundation on which to build."
"We have a loyal consumer following, have found complementary wholesale clients, made smart manufacturing choices, and will begin a national consumer marketing program in 2007. We're looking forward to an even more successful year of breathing fresh style into a once stale industry."
