Changes in children's wear industry leads apparel co to reinvent itself

After 48 years of success, Lollytogs Ltd has a new corporate identity reflecting their innovations in business.
New York based apparel company Lollytogs Ltd will be officially changing their name and logo after nearly half a century. The corporate name will be LT Apparel Group, effective January 2007.
The revamped corporate logo will incorporate the company name within a globe, signifying the universal focus and vertical integration, central to today's ever changing apparel industry.
A challenge for any long-standing company is being able to change and adapt with the times. The dynamics of the fashion industry shift at a rapid pace, resulting in expectations to constantly raise the bar. As generations of America's children have grown, so has Lollytogs. The company has raised the bar of expertise in designing, merchandising, and selling highly successful lines of children's wear.
"After three generations, we never deviate from the ideals by which the company was founded -- holding to the belief that if you treat your customers and suppliers fairly, the relationships will flourish and grow," says Richard A. Sutton, CEO, LT Apparel Group. Over the years, Lollytogs has successfully kept up with the transformations of the industry and strives to stay ahead of the curve.
"As we ring in this New Year, we are proud to introduce our new corporate name and logo, LT Apparel Group. This name will be used to convey a business model with a borderless scope and a focus on the global supply chain, faster turns and higher margins for our retail partners," Richard explains.
