Fashion designers create oomph on the ramp!

The New York Fashion Week on Sunday promised to ooze oomph with prominent designers like Donna Karan, Diane von Furstenberg, Phillip Lim and Tracy Reese.
Designer Donna Karan experimented some thing new. She blended evening wear and day wear for her fall collection. Her collection representing DKNY was perfect for college campus or at a hip high-tech office.
Her skirt suits with bubbly flip hems and heart print on bow blouses gave a sophisticated tailored look.
The stocky cardigans in black and white looked real cozy when worn with tweed wide-leg trousers or a ruffled miniskirt. This can be worn in the evening or can be used as a work wear. Berry-colored cashmere and double-faced wool coat and a matching short skirt were a perfect style of an Urbanite.
She used lots of dark colours like black and gray with bright spots of berry, violet and greenish yellow.
The President of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, Diane von Furstenberg's trade mark the wrap dress which she created 30 years ago is as fresh and modern as it was earlier. She had called her collection 'La Movida'.
Diane presented the cocktail party wear in both bright berry and black taffeta adding a big bow at the waist. She also created an elegant black knit wrap dress with "toreador" embroidery.
