Denim is tradition and freedom. Tavex Algodonera SA has created fabrics inspired in denim origins for this Spring – Summer 2007 collection: from gold prospectors rusticity, (short slub ring yarns), to sophisticated irregular multicount fabrics for cowboys.
Its wide variety of colours is able to reveal the shades, structures and aspects of that time. An aesthetic content in touch and comfort, developed with nowdays technology, has been added. Its fabrics sensuality makes it unique.
TAVEX was created in 1846 in Bergara, in the province of Guipúzcoa (Spain), going by the name of “Fábrica de hilados, tejidos y estampados de Bergara”. Its business initially involved printed calicos and other cotton fabrics, and from the very beginning use was made of indigo dye.
TAVEX is a multinational textile group, specialising in denim fabrics, whose core objectives are as follows: - The ongoing optimisation of its profitability, - Catering for the needs and requirements of its customers and consumers in a manner that exceeds their expectations and always ahead of its competitors, - Motivation, involvement, development and satisfaction for its people, and - Embracing its corporate responsibility within its operating environments.
