Symphony to bring Speedo swimwear in China, Taiwan

Good Prospect Profits Limited (Good Prospect), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Symphony Holdings Limited has entered into exclusive distribution and licence agreements on 27th January 2007 with Speedo International Limited (Speedo) to distribute Speedo's products in China and Taiwan (the Territory).

This announcement is made pursuant to Rule 13.09 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. Good Prospect is a subsidiary of Symphony Resources Limited (Symphony Resources), the division in the Company that engages in brand management and distribution.

Both Good Prospect and Symphony Resources are wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Company. On 27th January 2007, Good Prospect entered into the Agreements with Speedo for the distribution of Speedo products. The Agreements cover the entire range of Speedo products including swimwear, accessories, footwear and related sportswear.

The Company is confident that Speedo will be well received in the Territory. The brand will benefit from the upcoming Beijing Olympic Games during which Speedo will promote its brand globally.

The Speedo brand dates back to 1928. It is the world's most recognised brand in swimwear. The majority of Olympic swimming medals have been in Speedo. Speedo is recognized globally as the pioneer and trendsetter in swimwear development. It has introduced many technically advanced fabric materials including “Fastskin” which was inspiredby the skin of sharks.
