Valentin Yudashkin Fashion House presents Fall/Winter Collection 2007 in Milan. Western and Eastern cultural traditions frozen at the intersection of time interlinked with futuristic design find their reflection in the Autumn/Winter '07 collection.
The main inspiration of the new collection is the creative work of modern Eastern film producers in particular Wong Kar Way, who entered into the European cinema with his unique interpretation of a woman's image and of the eternal theme of unrequited love.
Dimmed lights of modern megapolis with bright neon sign accents, beautiful women of Wong Kar Way in closely fitting dresses hitting through the refined philosophy of East combined with Western sense of freedom offering the key to reading the style and spirit of the coming season.
Styles elements of the 60s and the 90s surface throughout the collection. “Bat” sleeves, low square armholes of jackets and coats, the big collars of blouses and jersey juxtaposed with waistlines accented by wide belts on evening and cocktail dresses.
The flash of voluminous tweed jackets combined with leather or jeans skirt and high platform boots. Corsets under chiffon blouses underlining the feminine form and every day looks offset by small leather bags in appliqué.
Coloured textures of black, accented with bright gold and silver splashes, dominate and intermingle with the greys, olives and honey-yellow colors which float in floral designs of silks. Metallized black and cold electric blue signal the 80s vibe and are used in jacquard ornamental fabrics and silk ribbons for finishing.
