Stefano Pilati presented Ready-to-Wear Autumn/Winter 2007 collection for the Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) in Paris on Thursday, where black took the center-stage.
The range featured almost every shade of black known, from jet-black to subtler shades of grays.
The outfits were made to perfection with precise cuts and detailed tailoring, simple and sleek with embellishment to from minimum to almost nonexistent.
Short jacket was paired with high-waisted dress and oversized gray blazer was over leggings. Studded mohair sweater worn under open tunic caught the every eye.
However, what stole the show was the lady's crisp satin Tuxedo, known as the 'le smoking' that hung with flawless fall.
Many experts believe that this was the designer's best effort result of which was a sophisticated creation, reflecting pride and simplicity of an elegant woman.
