Baugur Group is a privately owned investment organization based in Iceland. The main policy of this group is to focus on investments in the retail sector along with other service sectors in Iceland and northern Europe.

The group has invested in about 2500 fashion stores across the world.

These stores include Coast and Karen Millen, the department store chain House of Fraser, French Connection, All Saints, Jane Norman, and even the runway labels Matthew Williamson and PPQ.

In 2003, Baugur acquired a majority share in the British fashion chain Oasis and acquired Mappin & Webb, the British jewelry chain, in 2005.

Baugur is an unconventional enterprise with a focus on the middle to upper end of the retail market.
