C.P. Co fashion reflects 3 Ms - Man, Matter, Memory

Italian clothes maker C.P. Company launches collection for Spring/Summer 2007 season for man. The collection is a story made of Man, Matter, Memory, Consequences and Intuitions. The Man, undisputed centre, tests, experiments, changes and never stops. The Matter is shown in its ability to absorb, resist, remember and react.

The Memory, endless source of inspiration, gives birth to visual suggestions referring to the Renaissance, the pictorial revolution of Masaccio, the first painter able to create a three-dimensional effect on a flat surface. Consequences are represented by garments carrying experiences and showing pieces of frescoes. Matter and deepness come out through the rich colour palette, composed of 6 different intersections.

Intuitions are featured by new treatments to rediscover the past through the continuous evolution of the dyeing techniques, empirical vocation of C.P. Company that experiments and stratifies without ever stopping. The Modernity shown in the structure of the garments translates a world of references into urban and informal aesthetical codes.

C.P. Company's collection for next Spring/Summer season seems to absorb and reflect light. Surfaces are shiny, smooth, polished and liquid; however, they show the effects of the different dyeing treatments received in more steps, such as the Earth Dyeing with the use of natural pigments or the “Fixed Dyeing”, a novelty of the season.
