Swazi & Norsewear join hands to open stores

The two most popular outdoor clothing companies in New Zealand, Swazi and Norsewear have opened a combined store in Wellington.

During past five months, the two companies have opened four combined shops and have plans to open a fifth in Auckland next month.

These stores are trying to attract city customers.

Swazi specializes in designing and manufacturing high performance outdoor clothing for almost ten years.

Hunting clothing of Swazi is approved by both professional guides and hunters as the most practical, durable hunting garments available.

Swazi has about 90 employees at the factory and more in the shops.

Norsewear Clothing is high quality outdoor clothing made from a range of materials from merino wool to high-tech man made fabrics. The company manufactures merino clothing, outdoor apparel, thermal underwear and performance clothing.

In the two factories of Norsewear, about 70 people are working. The company now has branched out into urban wear and launched a range of outdoor and sports wear.
