Fashion Center Dallas neighborhood set for makeover with new look

Dallas Market Center, the world's largest wholesale resource, announced the launch of District One Five, the updated 100,000 square foot contemporary neighborhood inside the apparel and accessories marketplace FashionCenterDallas.
The rollout of District One Five's new appearance and resources will take place over the next several months to include additional permanent and temporary resources as well as fresh design elements providing the area with its own distinctive, signature look.
District One Five, located on the 15th floor of FashionCenterDallas, will receive numerous design enhancements through October 2007 in order to create an edgy market environment reflecting the fashion-forward products available in the area.
Artistic applications of the new logo, distinctive paint and lighting, updated furnishings, and key architectural elements will be added to create visual interest.The signature addition will be the construction of The District Lounge, a market-time lounge and bar featuring floor to ceiling glass and a balcony providing dramatic views of Dallas.
The District Lounge is scheduled for completion by October apparel market.The updated neighborhood will also serve as the home for Dallas Market Center's growing number of mainstream contemporary lines which collectively make up the greatest number of contemporary resources outside of the West Coast.
In March alone, several major expansions will be complete including new space for the Johnny Was and BCBG showrooms, which are expanding into the former GeNe space.Also in March, rep group Moxie Fashions will move into their own permanent showroom.
