Jaeger to accelerate international growth with retail development

Jaeger, the iconic British fashion brand, announces major expansion plans to significantly increase its international presence.

Currently the UK market accounts for approximately 85% of Jaeger's global sales. Throughout the next 12-18 months, the brand will accelerate its international growth with the further development of its retail, franchise and wholesale business, doubling the current number of its overseas stores from 40 to 80.

Additionally, Jaeger will be breaking into eight new markets - including USA, South Asia, Australia and Eastern Europe – taking the total number of its territories to 20, with further expansion planned in 2008/2009.

To support this development, Jaeger is pleased to announce the appointment of Adrian McAllister as Head of International Development.

McAllister joins Jaeger from Burberry where he was specifically responsible for the development of various key international markets over the past seven years.
