Fashion system players to select winner of THE BEST OF Ornamenta

Ornamenta and Fiera Milano International are pleased to present at the next edition of MACEF BIJOUX in Milan, from 7-10 September 2007,

THE BEST OF Ornamenta - the September Macef 2007 event that rewards creativity, taste, quality and innovation in the world of bijoux and accessories, set against the backdrop of this not-to-be-missed international showcase.

Seven Awards in honour of:
- Best Bijoux Design
- Best Accessory Design
- Best Design using Semiprecious Stones
- Best Use of Glass
- Best Use of Metal
- Best Use of Plastic Material
- Best Use of Natural Material

All those who take part in the initiative must deliver their competition product between 12 a.m. on Thursday 6 September and 12 a.m. on highly suggestive exhibition space will be designed to enhance the features and special aspects of the afterwards selected products and enable the visitor to take a relaxing break.

The objects nominated will be examined by an international panel of Italian and foreign journalists, major designer names and fashion system players, who will select the 21 finalists and the winner of THE BEST OF Ornamenta, the symbolic award conferred on Saturday 8 September during a cocktail party organised with Macef.

THE BEST OF Ornamenta aims mainly to recognise creative input in the bijoux and accessory segments as well as reward their passionate craftspeople.

Each of the 21 finalists will then be presented in in-depth articles in the issue of Ornamenta published after the trade show, while the objects will be photographed by a major photographer and transformed into large posters to be hung at all the national and international trade events in which Ornamenta magazine participates.
