Bordan Shoe to carry Hi-Tec success in North America

Hi-Tec Sports USA and Bordan Shoe Company announced they have entered into a licensing agreement to sell Hi-Tec Athletic footwear within the United States and Canada.

Hi-Tec Athletic is well-established in Europe, and the company is looking to Bordan Shoe Company to carry that success over into North America.

Hi-Tec Athletic is being launched for SS08, and features product for running, trail running, walking and cross training.

Target distribution points include sporting goods, big box/family footwear, and specialty athletic retailers, with orders slated to ship March 2008.

Bill Berta, President of Sales & Marketing for Hi-Tec Sports USA, remarked “We are very excited about partnering with Bordan Shoe Company to establish an athletic footwear business in North America."

"Bordan has strong existing relationships with key retailers, and we believe they will apply the appropriate resources to develop a successful athletic footwear business for Hi-Tec Sports USA.”

Berta further points out that “Running and cross training product have the most immediate opportunity and promise. We have a unique technology in our running styles with 4:SYS and we hope to expand upon that proven technology, bringing something new and advanced to the market.”
