SOFINA beauté to be marketed to women in 30s & 40s

Kao Corporation (president and CEO: Motoki Ozaki) will launch a new aging skin care¹ series, SOFINA beauté, nationwide in Japan on January 29, 2008. Six variants of 18 items will be offered; pricing will be open.
The new products work on the deepest corneum, or “skin core,” to bring out radiance and skin tension from within. SOFINA beauté will be marketed to women in their 30s and 40s, whose appearance in age ranges more widely than is the case for women in their 20s and 30s.
Since its launch as a brand in 1982, Kao Sofina has focused on revealing the mechanisms of the skin and has pursued dermatological research and the development of innovative technologies.
SOFINA beauté contains as moisturizers “core skin care ingredients,” such as ginger extract, citron extract, and eucalyptus extract.
Kao Sofina's proprietary dermatological expertise enables these ingredients to be delivered thoroughly to the deepest corneum, or “skin core,” where conventional moisturizers cannot easily penetrate. As a result of this thorough penetration, radiance and tension are provided to the skin.
