VAUDE strengthens team with expert for technical marketing

This passionate mountain sports athlete is bringing valuable experience to her new position, stemming not only from former professional positions, such as at Salewa and at Orga Sports, a business advisor for climbing halls.
She is also an excellent climber who is confident on grade 9 in the sports climbing scene. And she's demonstrated outstanding performance in all other alpine disciplines as well, including on difficult alpine and ice climbing routes, engaging in her favourite sport of trad climbing without fixed bolts, on demanding ski tours and as a climbing instructor.
“The interface between product management and communications is my passion. I'm looking forward to bringing my occupational experience, my competence in mountain sports, and my technical background as a sports scientist and specialist in German studies to this new challenge”, explains Anne Leidenfrost.
At VAUDE Anne Leidenfrost will be responsible for target-group-specific communications of technical themes across all product divisions.
As an additional focal point, Anne Leidenfrost is taking over responsibility for the entire training program for retailers within the framework of the VAUDE Academy.
This will include the formulation and preparation of training documents, seminars in theory and practical applications, materials science, product know-how, and mountain sports experience.
“Our products are stocked full of innovations that consumers needs to be able to quickly recognize and comprehend so that they can make an informed decision. This requires a concise and informative description on the product hang tags as well as in our catalogues and on our website.
In order to more clearly demonstrate our strengths in the area of innovation, we've expanded this division and filled the new position ideally with Anne Leidenfrost“, explains Antje von Dewitz, Head of Marketing, VAUDE.
