Citizen chimes with its new futuristic watches

Citizen Watches (India) Pvt Limited recently launched a new range of futuristic and trendy wristwatches 'Twin Date, Asymmetric Chronograph and Minute Repeater' for men and 'Kareena Diamonds' for women. These stylishly crafted watches are resonant of the spirit of the next generation.

In the words of Mr. Hideaki Nakazaki, Managing Director, CITIZEN Watches (India) Pvt Ltd “Rahul Dravid personifies 'Independence' a unique spirit that CITIZEN Eco-Drive watches also reflect. Unlike other watches, which are dependent on their batteries the Eco-Drive watches use rechargeable batteries. The new members reveal a break through in watch designing and bring something that the competitors do not posses. These watches will take our motto of 'Where Style Meets Technology' to another level.”

The hottest new models are:
'The Twin Date – Perpetual Calendar' – yet another gem in the men's time-wear features a big date display with two disks. The uniqueness of this watch is its large size date display in the center of the face. Thanks to the unconventional combination of two different size disks controlled by individual motors, not only the date is easily visible but it also gives the watch an impeccable look.

By adjusting the time difference over a 24 hour period, the date will automatically change following the movement of the hour hand. This also holds true while advancing and reversing making time-adjustment easy while traveling through different time zones. It has a simple yet distinguished view friendly design. The combination of Eco-Drive and Perpetual Calendar does not only relieve a person of changing batteries but also from adjusting dates at the month end.

The models available are BT0001-12E, BT000163E and BT0005-54E. While the first comes in a leather strap the other two are available with a metal band.

'The Asymmetric Chronograph' – carrying forward the legacy of the path breaking Eco-Drive technology this watch brings in a unique asymmetrical design placing the minute measuring display on the semicircular shape. The distinctive look is enhanced by a simple and elegant metallic case with a combination of a metal band and sapphire glass. Models AT1160-53E and AT1160-61A are available in black and white dial respectively.
