Karen Millen plans to open a store in Amsterdam

Karen Millen's position as one of Europe's premier brands was reinforced this month with deals to open new stores in two of the region's premier shopping districts.
The successful women's fashion retailer will launch a 220 sq m flagship store on Avenue Louise in the Belgian capital Brussels, close to stores owned by luxury labels Longchamp, Max Mara and Claudia Strater.
The Karen Millen store is the label's second in the country, the first having opened in the renowned shopping city of Antwerp five years ago.
Meanwhile, the second Karen Millen store in The Netherlands is set to open in Amsterdam on Hoofstraat.
Slightly larger than the new Belgian store at 255 sq m, it too will enjoy a prestige position among luxury retailers including jeweller Choppard, Louis Vuitton, Savatore Ferragamo and Anne Fontaine.
The new stores take Karen Millen's total portfolio to over 180 across 29 countries.
