Limited Edition New York (LENY) by Mariel Gamboa, involves renowned designers and celebrities to design garments and accessories for social reasons. This year the exhibition has moved to Tokyo for selling products of nearly 37 designers.
The Limited Edition has kept its designs limited this time with only 500 fashionable garments and stylish accessories like t-shirts, tote bags and sportswear made of organic cotton, which comes at a high price.
This time beautiful actress Gwyneth Paltrow, top notch models like Kate Moss and Helena Christensen, along with established brands including Calvin Klein, Diesel, Missoni and Paul & Joe have associated themselves to spread awareness and save environment.
Tote bag made by Branson flaunts red world map with the Arctic at the center, with short message – 'Flick Off', in large red letters. Sportswear created by Kate Moss has hand-painted flowers, stars and moon in beautiful shades.
All these famous names have come together to save the environment. The money collected from the sale of these items will be given to The Climate Project, an environmentalist group launched by Al Gore, former US Vice President.
LENY works to raise awareness on the effects of global warming and convince citizens to take preventive measures to solve this environmental crisis.
