Fashion Center Dallas presents new lines and special events

Dallas Market Center, the world's largest wholesale merchandise resource and the home of Fashion Center Dallas (FCD), announced that the upcoming Dallas Apparel & Accessories Market being held October 23 – 26 will offer more new resources for buyers including new lines and showrooms, hospitalities and special events.

The market will include women's, children's, men's, bridal, special occasion, the Southwest Shoe Expo, Temporaries on 12, and the SCENE edited temporary show – featuring the freshest designers in bridge and contemporary fashions.

In addition, the 33rd annual Dallas Fashion Awards gala will be held on Saturday evening, October 25.

“FashionCenterDallas will offer buyers a wide selection of apparel and accessory lines and several new contemporary showroom openings this October,” said Cindy Morris, COO, Dallas Market Center. “We are honored to once again recognize industry leaders and innovators during the Dallas Fashion Awards gala event.”

Among the new lines showing in the D15TRICT contemporary neighborhood in October are Code Vintage (Indigo Studio – FCD No 15216); Divine Rights of Denim (Level 99 – FCD No 15810); Hardtail Forever (Launch Showroom – FCD No 15264); Kut from the Kloth and See Thru Soul (Nancy K Showroom – FCD No 15022); and Voom by Joy Han (Colletta FCD No 15454).

Exciting showroom grand openings include The Scott Blair Group's expansion into its fourth FashionCenterDallas showroom (FCD No 15002-C). New showrooms include Mavi Jeans (FCD No 15002-A), Pink Lotus & Green Dragon (FCD No 15058), Rafael Espinal (FCD No 15016) and Rob Koeing (FCD No 15802).

Other resources available during market are daily special events and hospitalities. Highlights include:

“Dallas Market Center Tours the Dallas Museum of Art King Tutankhamun Exhibit” on Thursday, October 23 from 6 to 9 p.m., Meet at the World Trade Center Food Court

Dalllas Market Center buyers and exhibitors are invited to join us for a night at the Dallas Museum of Art to tour the King Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of Pharaohs exhibit. Ticket price includes pre-exhibit food and beverage at the World Trade Center Food Court at 6 p.m., guided instruction through the exhibit, and transportation to and from the Dallas Market Center and the exhibit. Shuttle buses will be provided to select hotels after exhibit viewing. Buses will leave from the Dallas Market Center promptly at 6:30 p.m.
