Dallas Market Center, the world's largest wholesale merchandise resource and the home of FashionCenterDallas (FCD), announced that the upcoming Dallas Apparel & Accessories Market being held January 22–25, 2009, will offer new resources for buyers including new lines and showrooms, hospitalities and special events.

The market will include women's, children's, men's, the Southwest Shoe Expo, Temporaries on 12, and the SCENE edited temporary show – featuring the newest designers in bridge and contemporary fashions.

“Now more than ever our loyal buyers are searching for the most efficient resource for new, margin-making resources,” said Cindy Morris, COO, Dallas Market Center. “The relative economic strength of this region and the low travel costs to Dallas make us extremely optimistic for 2009.”

Among the new lines showing in January are Anna Scott and CarloPik (Barry Zucker – FCD #15963/15975), Carlos Miele and Francis by Christian Francis Roth (Brad Hughes & Associates – FCD #15727), Dream Culture and Jet Lag for women and men (styleLounge – FCD #15559), Grass Roots (Jon Lasser – FCD #15880), Karen Stewart (Jim Brown Sales – FCD #14054), Ragdoll (Scott Harner & Company–FCD #15343), Satin Rouge (Sonny Gentzel & Associates – FCD #14664), Zuzatz (Neil Goldblatt – FCD #14408), and many more.

Abi Ferrin's first corporate showroom will open during January in the DISTRICT One Five® contemporary neighborhood in FCD #15842. It will house her full collection as well as works by jewelry designer and finalist of last year's
“Texas' Next Top Designer” search, Rachelle Dauphinée.

The Abi Ferrin collection features form-flattering dresses, tops, skirts, pants, and jackets all in the finest fabrics. Her motto and the driving force behind her brand is “Fashion with Freedom and Purpose.” The Nepal Project is close to the designer's heart and a passion of hers – an organization that works with Nepali civil and political groups for peace building and democratic processes. A portion of the sales from her designs are donated to the organization
