'Switch' to be theme of JD Institute's fashion awards 2019

The theme ‘Switch’ is a result of rigorous research and brainstorming sessions between the students, faculties and the management who examine various trends, challenges and evolving face of fashion to arrive at a theme every year. In the past, themes for The Fashion Awards focused on sustainable fashion, inculcating purity in the designs, addressing the issue of plagiarism in the fashion industry etc, said a press release from JDIFT.

Noticing the good work put by JDIFT students for various fashion shows, even Bollywood stars came forward to praise the young talent of the institute. Star cast of the movie Zero—Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, who were in the city for their film promotion, met up with the management of JD Institute and congratulated them for the successful announcement of theme for annual fashion awards 2019 and wished the students good luck.
