AIFW A/W 16 shifts to new venue

For the first time, the event will be held at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Lodhi Road, Delhi, according to a press statement released by the organisation. The event was held at Pragati Maidan, Delhi, last year.

The AIFW A/W 16, organised in association with Maybelline New York, will see participation from many leading designers across the country.

Commenting on the announcement of the venue, Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI said, “We are pleased to welcome all of you to a spectacular new location, which will serve as a befitting platform to elevate the standard of the fabulous AIFW A/W 2016 showcasing.”

“It will give Indian fashion the larger-than-life space that it deserves as we get set to predict luscious trends for the season,” he said. (MCJ)
