Boy band WOW & beeposh to release holiday collection
October 02, 2009 (USA)

One of the music industry's fastest rising pop sensations, the boy band WOW, have signed a multi-level licensing agreement with beeposh, a teen and tween manufacturer of specialty toys, apparel and accessories. Like WOW, beeposh applies extraordinary fashion-forward color to everything they do, which combine for a great partnership. WOW consists of five teen boys ages 15-20 years old (Frankie Zulferino, Eddie Moody, Jake Lauckern, Michael Rechner and Kyron Correia) based in the New York City area.

In six short months, the group is already making an impact on the pop music scene, performing from Montreal to Japan, Los Angeles to New York. "WOW is the most aptly named boy band since *NSYNC. They've got the whole package and are definitely a WOW on the horizon of pop music," states Matthew Rettenmund, Editor-in-Chief, POPSTAR! Magazine.

First up for WOW and beeposh will be the release this holiday of an exclusive WOW teddy bear. This will be followed up with matching print bags, pajamas and fleece blankets. "We have been following WOW due to customer requests and felt the timing was right based on their rising popularity and where we feel as a company they are headed in the future," states Laurie Dexter Greenblatt, SR VP of Sales, beeposh.

Determined to give back, WOW knows that they have the ability to make a difference. They have had the privilege to participate in charitable work for Autism, Cystic Fibrosis and World Hunger. They have also helped bring attention to organizations such as One Is Greater Than None, Cupcakes for Cancer and the Lollipops and Rainbow Foundation. WOW, with the help of beeposh, have also just formed its own charity called the WOW Care 4 Kids Campaign which raises awareness for kids' causes around the world such as hunger, abuse, cancer and education.

"This group is the most talented, positive and energetic group I have ever worked with and scream corporate sponsorship. We are getting so many calls now due to the rise in the group's popularity that we felt the time was right to start aligning ourselves with great companies like beeposh.

WOW is geared to do what New Kids on the Block did in the 80s and the Backstreet Boys did in the 90s," says Rockworx Entertainment CEO Paris D'Jon, the group's manager who was responsible for discovering and managing Nick and Drew Lachey and their group 98 Degrees, as well as launching the career of Jessica Simpson and others.
